Medicare waiting list

Hi, My husband says that Medicare does not have a waiting list, that UW hospital has a waiting list for Medicare patients. Is there anyone else who takes Medicare around here who would have a shorter waiting list? (This is all in case Premera Blue Cross won't do it; they have an exclusion) Thanks. Hi Lauren , I guess the answer would depend on the type of surgery you're seeking . Dr. Simonowitz has very good recommendations and may be able to take you sooner. Currently he only performs an Open Proximal RNY.
