poo on pacificare

I was denied after going through so much crap! But I have to appeal. I heard that pacificare is being hard nose on lap banding. They said i was not medically qualified. so how bad do I have to get?

Thank You Carol for responding! I will get this done, even if I go south. Did you have it done? And where did you have it done? I am kinda looking for people who have had it done in Mexico because I heard the pacific care is trying very hard not to do this procedure. I need to find a Dr who would do after care. Got any ideas? GAIL, i HAVE PACIFICCARE INSURANCE I APPEALED THE LAP BAND DENIAL FOR OVER A YEAR I WORKED WITH THE OFFICE MANAGER IN MY DOCTORS OFFICE WE EVEN HAD THE MEDICAL DIRECTOR FROM PACIFICCARES TELEPHONE NUMBER HE KEPT TELLING US THAT I NEEDED TO WAIT BECAUSE HE THOUGHT IT WOULD GET APPROVED BUT IT NEVER DID I EVEN WROTE LETTERS SAYING I WOULD BE A CASE STUDY BUT IT NEVER GOT APPROVED SO I WENT AHEAD WITH THE BYPASS ON 10/29/03 I AM DOWN 60 LBS. I GUESS I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT I WENT THRU ALOT OF HEARTACHE FOR OVER A YEAR THEN TO FINNALY BE TOLD THAT THEY PROBALY NEVER WILL COVER IT SO PLEASE DON'T PUT YOURSELF THRU THAT ,I GAINED SO MUCH WEIGHT FROM THE STRESS OF ALWAYS WAITING.
