consult

New to the site... I got a call this afternoon and it was the U of W calling to tell me that I am next on the list for a consultation. I hope this is a step in the right direction. Can anybody tell me what I have to look forward to. I would love to start getting some info on the steps to the procedure.

Welcome! I hope you will have your consultation soon. Be prepared with a list of questions that you need answered because if you're anything like me, as soon as I get there, my mind goes blank. I'm not familiar with the hoops the U of W will make you jump through, but it does seem like it's the 'initiation' period before you can join the 'club.'

I wasn't aware that the U of W did BPD/DS surgery. Is that what you're getting or is this site include all types of surgery?
