surgery in canada?

I have been checking into getting surgery in mexico.......but my husband is uncomfortable with it. so i was wondering if they have it in canada and what the price would be . I am also more interested in the gastric bypass then the band. has anybody tried canada I would really like to know since I am not ready to just give up.
