medic alert bracelet

Hello all. Ive seen alot of postings in the library about getting a medic alert bracelet. I am wondering what exactly would be best to put on it. Please let me know id like to have it ready after my surgery. Thanks Brandi

Brandi, I got two of the bracelets from laurenshope.com, and I love them! I receive compliments on my "bracelet" but no one realizes it's a medic alert until I show them. On mine, I had inscribed GASTRIC BYPASS. USE ENDOSCOPE TO INSERT NG TUBE. O POSITIVE (my blood type). I would encourage anyone who has had WLS to get one. I feel safer knowing that someone won't be blindly shoving a tube down my throat and through my pouch. Good luck on your journey.
