PLS help! Regence Selections and help interpret vauge"Exclusion" statement!

My plan indicates "weight loss surgery, medications or otherwise, where the intended result is weight loss, is not covered"...I am a resourceful person, and I see that as giving me "wiggle" room, my old insurance specifically said " weight loss surgery is not covered" .....my intended result is to decrease the problems of my: Insulin resistance, PCOS, back/knee problems, etc...... am I trying to hard???

I think that is exactly the way to think... your not trying to hard at all.. you should add in all that plus... like do you have rashes, migraines, get infections often??? why not ad in EVERYTHING as we have been told that fat is the cause of EVERYTHING.... hopefully your drs office knows how to word it just so while including everything. good luck theresa wls 4/16/03 256/189
