Tacoma WLS support group Wednesday

At the MLK branch of the Tacoma Public Library, 19th and Cedar, 7pm. Take the Union Avenue Exit from Highway 16 (going West toward Gig Harbor), turn right at the exit light, then right at 19th. Cedar is one block down, and the library is right on the corner. This will be the last one there. It's moving to St. Joseph Hospital the first Tuesday of each month at 7pm for preop and newly post-op. First meeting there will be July 1. Let me know if you want to go and need more specific directions.

I was also at that meeting and yes the group is very supportive and chock full of information. It was a great first meeting for me... even if the talk about the drainage tube made my skin crawl a bit...lol. It's worth it in the long run I figure.

Hi Connie, Thanks for the info on the WLS support group. I am waiting for insurance approval (how's that for thinking positively?) and would like to join a local support group. I live in Puyallup. Is the meeting at St. Joe's the closest to me? Thanks! Tammy
