New surgeon last minute!

Madigan called me on Monday and said I needed to come in a week
early for my pre-op, surgery scheduled for next Friday. Dr Eggebroton is
being sent to CA and Dr. Beeksley or Dr Martin would be doing my surgery.
Spent 6 hours doing Pre-op yesterday and am a little nervous having not met
either of the new surgeons. Can anyone tell me about either surgeon?

Also, getting nervous as my surgery gets closer,but am ready to for 
my new life to start.

 

I can't help you with advice on either surgeon since I'm non-military; but, just wanted to say tht it's normal to be nervous leading up to the surgery. So, see; you're already just like the rest of us!!!

Dr. Beekley did my surgery back in March. He is an excellent surgeon and I was very happy with him we have sinced PCS to Fort Bliss, TX so I have new surgeons that I follow up with. You are in great hands with Dr. Beekley!

I have not met Dr. Beekley, but Dr. Martin is awesome. You will be in GREAT hands! I am sure Dr. Beekley rocks too!

My surgery is the 9th, so maybe we will see eachother walking the halls!

Dr. Martin is my surgeon, and I am completely at ease with him!
