Support Groups ?? in the federal way area

 Does anyone know of any support groups in hte Federal way area??

 If so - could you please post the info....

The Virginia Mason Federal Way Clinic has 2 WLS support groups.. the 2nd Tuesday is Lapband Support group and 4th Weds is Gastric Bypass.  Both are from 6 to 8 pm.

There is also a pair in Puyallup (appx 15 mi). I know your doc well, actually. 2nd Tuesday, 7pm (and the very next day-- we set up the chairs ONCE)

The Auburn Group is meeting the 12th. at noon, this meeting will be a Pool Patry-BBQ-Potluck- Oct. I have arrainged for a swim and trim class at the YMCA in Auburn. Call me for all the details! Merrilou (253) 939-8865

i have my appointment with dr. oh on 9/11 for the VSG....  i am hoping to fast track this and get it done before i go back to school the end of september, but he couldn't guarantee it...  i might have to wait until next break in december...  but i'm acting-as-if in the meantime and keeping my finners crossed for a september date...

oh it does pay to act -as-if and ask the universe for what you want...  dr. oh's office called this morning and moved my consult date to this friday to accomodate a suddenly-available 9/11 spot for my EGD - and i have date now - SEPTEMBER 22ND.   oh. my.

Dr. Srikanth has support group that meets the second Tuesday of each month in his office building, which is on the grounds of St. Francis Hospital.
