So... I have been a little fustruated with the lack of weightloss this past couple of months... but I am I have had the sense that my clothes are getting bigger...

Fast forward to this morning....I am getting ready for work... I see my hubby jeans on the floor... and I think... "I wonder if I can fit into these".... so... I tried them on....  AND THEY FIT!!!   I had to show my husband... so he looked at me... and said "So is it  Wear Jeans to Work Day...."   I said no...
"it is 'Wear your husbands pants to work day!!"    We both laughed... and I changed my clothes... so I really could go to work...

But I did have some good news when I got weighed at my surgeons office... while I only lost about 13 pounds in 3 months... I lost 20 pounds of fat and increased my lean body mass by 8 pounds...  I am SO close to  being ONLY overweight... my bmi is 30.8

You rock Helen! Congrats on the Wow moment!!
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

That is wonderful Helen!  Oh and BTW 13 lbs in 3 months at you stage is really good, the weight loss has to slow down eventually or we would get sick!

Oh no... I was not bummed out... I needed to be reminded that this weight loss journey has phases... and I am now in the slower weight loss ... hoping my saggy skin will firm up..... getting more exercise.... and making sure I make good food choices ........ phase!

You are right if I continued to lose 10 to 14 pounds a month... I am not sure I would be very healthy!!

And you are less than 30 lbs to goal!    Things seem to slowly be firming up for me, arms look a little better I think.  Slower weight loss is good, it amazes me that I can lose 1 pant size with 10 lbs,  rather than 20 -30.  Although I do belive that I am done with the weight loss, I am trying to up the calories and settle into maintainance.

This WOW moment reminded me ONCE again... the number on the scale is not always the best indicator of how my body is changing or how my exercise program is working.
