St Francis - the hospital stay.

Wow I would suggest that any one that has a bad experience at any hospital contact the hospitals patient advocate.  Even if it doesn't help you it might help the next person!!

That's kind of scary! I'm glad your OK, and didn't have and emergency that you pressed the button for.

My family was so freaked that I chose to leave the country for surgery, and they had visions of me sharing a room with goats and chickens, but I had a wall of windows facing the Arabian sea, a huge flat screen TV, and a great nurse to patient ratio. I think I fared well.

I've heard enough stories that I think most should have a friend or family member stay with them just in case they need an advocate. Fortunately, that should be the last you need of St Francis, and I've been hearing good things about your surgeon, so it should be smooth sailing from here.
