Denied

Ok, well I figured this was coming since I read all of these boards. Dr. Srikanth's office put in my paperwork to Anthem BCBS of CA PPO last week for VSG... Well, I got the email today from Kaye saying the nurse case manager said it's not covered due to investigational. Kaye somehow thought I wanted to get the Lap Band instead if that were to happen, which I don't, but she did ask me first before she went ahead with that stuff.... Has anyone ever dealt with Dr. Srikanth's office after being denied the VSG surgery? What do I do now? Thanks!!

sorry to hear you were denied.  that's gotta be so disappointing.  i don't have any suggestions for you really, besides appeal, appeal, appeal.  good luck.
