The Second Tuesday of Every Month

It's a shame so many support group meetings are on the second Tuesday of every month. I enjoyed the meeting I attended (Shrikanth's meeting), but I hated having to choose.

I concur, but there's little that can be done unless someone is willing to change his/her given date which could turn into a ******g match (pardon my french) with arguments made about which has been existence longer, which has more regular attendees, which is "open" to more people in relation to exclsuion based upon surgery type, facility, surgeon, etc.  That's why it must have been nice when Dr. Srikanth had multiple support groups...

When there's a conflict, I base my decision upon:

1) notification
2) topic
3) who's attending, if that can be ascertained (I like to meet new people, but I also love to see friends).

I joked with Beetle privately that I was going to start a group that met the 3rd Wednesday of every month that had been preceded by a month in which a full moon occured on a Sunday.

Then they'd have to get together and sort out their dates to get us back!
