Hi all!

I will be attending the Bariatric Surgery Pre OP Class from 8-Noon at Group Health Bellevue Medical Center - first floor.
Is anyone going? I would love to see a friendly face or two.
My sweetie was supposed to come with me but couldn't get time off work after all.

Send me an email or private message if you'll be there!

Thanks,

Linda

Hi Linda,
I attended last month, and had my RNY with Dr. Landers on 2/9. Just home today, and all went well.  The class is very informative, you will have a folder with all sorts of information that will appear really overwhelming. Just take it one step at a time. You will love Overlake, and will be in very good hands. Dr. Landers and his PA are amazing and you will be in good hands!

Best of luck, and let me know your surgery date!

Kathy
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

Thanks Pixie and Kathy for the response.
My surgery date is March 4th, 2009.
I appreciate the encouragement and am looking forward to today's class.

My girlfriend Andrea in Canada is having her lap band today and she's in my thoughts.
I have my one on one with  Dr. Landers on Feb 20th and I am looking forward to hearing his recommendation about either Lap or RNY for me.

I've done my research on both but we shall see.

Thanks again.

Linda
