UW or Virginia Mason

Can anyone give feedback.  Would you wait a little longer to have your Lap Band done at UW, or possibly shorten the wait time by going to Virginia Mason?

This may be the deciding factor for you.... only Dr  Jeffrey Hunter does Lap Band at VM... so you would need to travel to Federal Way for your all your visits/fills.

Dr Wright does the lapband at UW and there isn't much of a wait to see him.  If you were having RNY it would be another story.  I'm transferring my bariatric care to Dr Dellinger (I had the RNY done in Portland 6 months ago).  I made my 'new patient' appointment on Monday and the first avail appt is April 13.  If I was pre-op the wait would drive me crazy!  They were going to have me see Dr Wright and he had appts avail in Feb but he only does lapband so I can't see him.
