Pre-Op Diet

I am having my surgery in Mexico next Thursday.  They have not provided me with pre-op diet instructions.  Where can I find these?

Many surgeons don't require a pre op diet.  Call and ask if yours does.

Not all surgeons require a pre-op diet.  I am sure you can email or call the patient cordinator for you surgeon and find out if your surgeon requirements. 

My pre-op diet was 2 protein shakes and one low fat meal a day.  I could have unlimited non starchy veggie.  This diet helped me get off sugar.

Thanks for your answers.  My doctor doesn't require it but I became concerned when I saw so much written about other people's pre-op diets and fatty livers and no longer qualifying for surgery etc etc etc.  Whew!
