This is what I was looking for...I have had my band for almost a year, and I was looking for more people who have had theirs for long term...congrats and thank you for the inspiration!

There are folks out there who have had their band for years.  Not many as long as me only because I had the surgery when it was fairly new in the states, but there are lots of folks who have had their band in place for three, four years or so.

The band is intended to be in place, and work, for the rest of your life.
