VSG on 11/19/08

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome and kind wishes. I scheduled my surgery today for Nov 19 - yes, I have four weeks to get everything done - right now I feel like I'm truly finally on the yellow brick road. I'm going to post a blog update later - it's been an emotional roller coaster of a day and I didn't sleep AT ALL last night.

I read that you're not looking forward to the liquid pre-op diet....... I didn't enjoy it, either. Neither did I enjoy the first few weeks afterwards (in regards to diet).

But I HAD to get through it and I DID. So will YOU, right?

Good luck on the surgery, the last couple days are the worst! Or were for me. Was so happy they called me in a couple hours early! Mine was Oct. 17th. I feel great other than wanting something to bite on. LOL
