Just wanted to celebrate with you guys!

For the FIRST time EVER - I have taken in over 100 grams of protein!
For those of you who don't know...up until just recently - all forms of protein powders made me throw up.  I was on Isopure, and there are only two flavors of those I like & they are SO expensive, I could really only afford to do one a day!

So today I've had THREE protein shakes at ~30g of protein each = 90 g
And half of an isopure which = approx 20g of protein for a grand total of 110 grams!! YAY!
Food was low today (and not the best choices). Had 1/2 a grilled cheese sandwich, 4 tater tots (with ketchup) and a bite of chicken.

Anyway, just so thrilled I got a lot of protein...I don't think my body had room for more food after all of that!

Hi Kelly!

I don't remember what Madigan's requirements were, but I did research it, and found that it's best to have 80-120grams of protein per day in supplement form.  So I set a goal for myself to reach over 100grams.

How are you feeling after your surgery?

I'm finally getting comfortable...  been trying to balance the water and the protein  in my diet.  But one boo boo, I tried something and got the foamies. Ugh!  that would be on the back burner for  2 weeks before I try that again!

YAY!!! You go girl!!!! I can usually get mine in, but that's using food as well, not strictly supplements.  I eat a lot of chicken so between shakes, Isopure and my food I usually do well.  And now that it's so warm, I'm finding it easier to get my liquids in too.
