One week post-op visit

hi there, I'm pre-op. did you have your surgery done laproscopically or with an open incision? are drains required for laproscopic surgery? Glad you're doing well. Jody

Mine was laproscopic. Everyone in my support group and it seems like every one here has had drains. I had mine for 6 days, others have had theirs longer. I was told they could stay in for up to 3 weeks. The drain wasn't too bad, it had to be emptied twice a day and other then a couple of clogs no problem.

Woo-Hoo, Lisa!  You're doing great!  I hated that drain!  But then mine was really bad coming out because I had an infection there...I screamed.  Congrats on the 9 pounds...that's 9 pounds gone FOREVER!!!
