I'm relocating to Washington new to this board

You will love WA , Im in NC right now till our next move Military, But I sure hope we get back to WA thats were I was born and raised. But I sure you will love it...............

Amanda... If you just arrived to Washington... you arrived during the Washington  "Monsoon season"!!!  The weather will get better...  and as a Native like Lori B.. summer here is the best!! Not too hot... little to no humidity. Also... the ocean is only about an 1.5 hour away from (it might be closer than that!)  Ocean Shores is great... and you can drive on the beach during certain months. Helen

Thanks Helen,   I'm glad to know it will get better! I did a lot of visiting over the last several months and will be moving permanantly in May. I don't think I saw the sun once in those months LOL.  I'm used to hot summers with awful humidity so this will be a nice change I'm sure.
