Madigan question or two

Ok postops, that leak test....when is that done exactly and what is involved?  Did anyone there tell you when to start vitamins again (like the liquid multi, B12 melt etc) or did the surgeon or nurse tell you at your appointment to take the drain out? Also, did they make that drain removal appointment for you or did you have to make it once home? I know I know, full of questions.  Soon my busy part of my day will start so figured I would ask now  lol

They do the leak test while your under, they blow up your pouch and dribble water on it and check for bubbles.  Dr s called it the tire test...lol  I think vitamins are in the green book and you call and make the drain appt but they have openings for that. There you go!!
