Finding Drs. that take TRICARE for Lap-band

Hi, I am ISO a Surgeon that accepts TRICARE that does Lapband..  If anyone has any info pls let me know.  I am getting so frustrated!  I cannot have a Gastric bypass b/c I have dumping syndrome and it would make it worse.   Thanks in advance, :) Mechelle

I can you go to Madigan?  I know its a little far for you but then you would have almost no extra expences, and several of the surgons there do lapband.  Otherwise I think when your PCP puts in a referral then tricare will tell you what dr's they are contracted with.

I agree with what Jillian said, also I had the dumping syndrome problem before surgery, it didn't stop them from doing the surgery. I don't understand why you can't have the surgery some thing isn't right. Oh and if you do have the surgery you eat the wrong thing and you will dump also. So check with Tri-Care and see who they send you to, if you can go to Madigan then you would have the surgery free, I only paid for my food. GoodLuck
