1st checkup! Yipee!

I ment to post this earlier but I got busy this weekend.  lol  Anyhow I had my 1st check up friday, to get my drain pulled and see how this were going.  Everything is fine and the drain is out! (ughh that was something else) and I am down 12lbs and that was at 9 days out!! I am so grateful to get that thing out of me, I feel 100%better with it gone! Thanks for you support guys!!

wow....WAY TO GO...... you are doing great, wish I could've madeit yesterday. is there a get together on the 1st. did it hurt to get the tube removed?

Hi Cindy, I don't know about the 1st bit I have a room reserved on the 8th and 23rd.  As far as the tube goes it didn't really hurt but it was pretty uncomfortable.  Thanks for the WTG!!

YAY I have been wondering how you have been doing and knew it had to be doctor time soon.  Congrats on the 12 lbs, that's AWESOME!

RAH,RAH,RAH, WHOOHOO....I am so happy for you can you tell? haha...Isn't that the strangest feeling getting them drains out..I know how you feel, FREE!!! Wow and 12 pounds gone you go girl...remember drink, drink, drink, your water.... Take care don't over do it... Hugs Terri

Thanx Jillian, I was so wanting to go, but was in pain.  To tell the truth when I took a shower Sat morning I was almost ready to come, but then I saw I was leasking icky stuff from my incision so I crawled back into bed. then yesterday I noticed after my shower it was really gross and I had a hole, so off to the ER I went and now I have to go see Dr. Hohman this morning for him to repack it. eek...oh well, seems like I am down but not out yet..haha... Hope to make it to the next one.. Hugs Terri
