How would I train for something like this? Walk a few miles a day and keep increasing it each wee****il I am up to 15 miles or so? I have to say I am intrigued and have always wanted to do something like this. Most of my life I lived in Boulder CO and always "thought about" walking the Bolder Boulder. I never did it but I still want to!

Actually I found this training schedule. It sounds pretty doable! http://www.marathonwalking.com/schedule_ez_half.html

OH this is a great link!! :)  I've never really "trained" for one.... I guess I spend so much time at the gym.... doing other activites that I just "did it"  maybe if I really "trained" I could increase my time.... I'll have to play with my schedule and see what I can work in there.

There are exactly 12 weeks (including this one****il the marathon. Fortunately I started out right by not working out at all yesterday. Haha!  I walked 3 miles this morning and will do some elliptical or bike tomorrow then walk again Thursday. I was thinking that it might be fun to get together for the Saturday walks maybe starting in January if you are up for trying out this training program with me. ;)
