I was denied for the Lapband

I too was denied by my insurance company and know exactly how you are feeling.  I don't know if you have already looked into www.obesitylaw.com but they may be able to help you.  I agree with the above comments...don't give up!

I was also denied by my insurance company. But expected they would as they are all shady. But they cant stop me!!! I have decided to just pay for it myself.  I am also a new bee here and have found lots of great advice. Good luck to you~~Sue~~

After being denied by insurance, and no resolution in site after 4 years, I took out a 401K loan and paid $7300 cash in Mexico.  Dr. Rodriguez, Acuna Mexico.  As an RN, I did the research, and had a wonderful experience.  It's an option, and might be the right one for you.  As Suze Orman says, "People first, then things, then money"
