DT Seattle or Eastside Support Group

Hello! I'm trying to find a general WLS or a Lap Band support group either in down town Seattle or Bellevue/Redmond but I'm not finding anything. :( There has to be a group that meets near or between I-90 & 520 on either side of the lake right? Does any one know of any exisiting groups open to new people, new groups trying to form I could be apart of, or just  any one here wanting one looking to form such a group? Thanks! Jarrah

There is a DS support group that meets in Tukwila on the 2nd Saturday of every month ... everyone is welcome and we often have folks who have surgeries other than the DS!  I know it's a little further south than you mentioned, but you'll never meet a nicer group of people.  :)  We're meeting this Saturday, but if your date is right and you're having surgery on Wednesday, you probably won't be up to it.  Let me know if you want more details!

A Seattle support group is hard to come by - maybe we should start one?  I can probably get permission to use my office for it, which is centrally located right near the Seattle Center. -Jeff
