Hi everyone! it seems that my band is much tighter in the morning and even into the afternoon. I drink water when I get up in the morning, to try and open up my band, but even water, or skim milk hurts! Anyways, I can't seem to get anything down with out it being uncomfortable. What can I do? At night or in the evenings, my band is great, and things work well. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any suggestions on what I can do? And if I PB'd on water, am I still confined to liquids for 3 days? Thanks for any input. Tasha

Tasha, ask on the lap band forum and you'll get more responses. It isn't uncommon for people to say they're tighter in the morning.  Some people drink warm water or decaf coffee or tea to open up the stoma a bit. If you PBd on water I would almost think you'd want to stick with liquids.  Check with your surgeon. You may even need a very slight unfill to be more comfortable. Lori
