I'm Getting impatient

Is it normal to take this long for a surgery date once youve had your pre-op. My pre-op was last week and they said they would let me know by friday and still nothing. Am I just being to pushy LOL, or should I give them a call? This is probably totally normal and I'm just to excited, please fell free to tell me I'm getting to hyped up, HA HA. Kim B.
