3 weeks today I have had my surgery! Anyone with with port pain?

As of a few days ago I really did not have a difficult time not being hungry...Now I am getting more hungry.My port area is pretty tender and is a bit swollen.Is this normal? I love this site and have really learned alot from all of you!

I'm 18 days post-op and still have port pain and swelling but mine is due to a seroma that has popped and is draining. It seems though most people have port pain for a few weeks. hope yours gets better soon.

Thanks for your reply. I hope that your port pain gets better and everything goes well. I had a seroma too, if this is referring to fluid retention in the port area. I had mine drained a week after surgery, but it filled back up. Mine has been very swollen, about a 4" diameter and about 1" out from my body. I have not had any weight loss for about 1 1/2 weeks, but am working out on the treadmill. I'm trying to drink all of the protein drinks.

How are you two doing?? Are your port areas getting better?
