Here we go!!

Well, it's official...I got a date! April 30th. Pre-op on the 18th. My insurance has totally approved it and now all I have to do is take a few tests and a phsyc eval and I'm all set. (chest x-ray , EKG, etc you know the drill!) Deep breath! wow. Well thanks all for your support. I've been lurking here for months.. even years on and off. I'm so happy to finally be 'here'. You all are incredible and a inspiration to me.. (pre-op and post-op alike) Well, thanks for listening... -shakeira

WOOHOO!!!! Yeah, Shakeira!!! The time will fly by and be here before you know it. Expect a lot of emotions to deal with in the meantime, that is normal. Be sure to go to Dame Tooter's page and read up...great stuff there if you haven't read it already. Sure hope you can make it to this month's support group meeting, I want to meet you and congratulate you in person if you are able. Wow! Molly (on the way to my 3-month check-up! woohoo for me too!)
