Out of the loop!!!

I don'****ch TV much and work 50-60 hour work weeks and apparently have missed some info. Can anyone fill me in on what the heck happened to the Wish Center. I had a gastric bypass back in June 2005 and was trying to call to get an appt. or something because I was having stomach pain all of a sudden and I found out my surgeon is gone,(Dr. Jeffrey Strain-good riddance!) and that the Wish Center is no longer in practice. I never received a letter or e-mail or anything. Just wondering if anyone could fill me in? Thanks! Hanan

WISH is no more. Our center here in IL has closed also as are the ones in AZ, TX, FL and OH. Check the message titled - "Call from my doctor's office(pre..." on this board. The poster Ann W talks about receiving a call from Dr A's office and that the office opened back up, sans WISH. All the former WISH doctors are moving on and starting new private practices, WOOHOO.
