Medicare

I'm trying to help my dad get surgery---I've had a hard time finding a doctor who will accept Medicare. Anyone out there who has Medicare and has a surgeon in Washington or Northwestern Oregon?

I had medicare and it was SOOOO easy they covered everything. My surgeon was Dr. Simonowitz at Overlake Hospital in Bellvue, wa. He retired and it's a different guy now so not sure how he works with them but my surgery was in 2005 and I would do it all again though I didn't think that at first when my family could eat and I couldn't but it passes quick and I am SOOO much happier for doing it. You should check out the UWMC, Bariatric center. I know they take medicare and their surgeons are wonderful. There may be a wait list though so you may want to find out about that part. Take care and good luck! Kathy
