Hi, I'm 8 weeks out from my RNY with a ring, done in Brazil. I'm down a little over 45 pounds. I feel pretty well, but I get very tired. I'm trying to work out my supplements. Do we ablsorb Coral Calcium? I've found a liquid that doesn't taste bad, but realize I may not be absorbing it. Any info will be appreciated! Betsy

Nope. An acidic environment is needed to absorb calcium. We don't have acid in our pouches. So it is necessary to take calcium in the form of Calcium Citrate. Check your iron levels if you are tired. Congrats on your WL, Betsy!! Fabulous! Blessings, Nancy Medial RNY Sept 2004 276/138-140/138 At goal
