I hear you man. I have lost about 175 pound, but I still wear a size 15.
I usually walk into a shoe store and just ask what they have in a 15....Usually its nothing.
I always order online and keep a constant vigil on eBay for bargains. In a way I'm glad they have not shrunk, otherwise I would have had to replace literally 2000.00+ in shoes.

Congrats David!
I started in the 460's as well and am currenly at 286 pounds.
It is a "benefit" being super obese men as the weight comes off more rapidly than others seem too.
Good luck in your journey.

That is one gorgeous baby!
I was in the delivery room with my two kids - cut the cord etc. But they never smiled, and both looked like most newborns....FUGLY! Not like you're Tatum.
Congratulations!

Topic: RE: Did your feet shrink?
I have lost 161lbs but my shoe size has remained the same, I wear a mens size 15 and I was really hoping that they would. I think its genetic in my family as my dad is a 14 and one of my brothers is a 14. We had a Sasquatch somewhere in our family tree...I'm sure of it.
I do know that a lot of people do drop shoe size with VSG.
Cheers,
Jason

It looks like a planet, but very cool.
I have watched a bunch of actual VSG surgeries on youtube as well. Those are a real trip to see.

Topic: RE: Anyone over 360 have this?
cracsgrl,
I was 460lbs (455 day of surgery) and I have lost 161lbs in just under 6 months.
I am 299lbs today and have a goal of 220 pounds.
I have lost on average 26lbs a month.
I am 6'3 and have a very large frame.
Nobodys loss is the same, but generally the bigger you are to start the more you lose. I have also noticed that men esp around my weight +/- lose a bit more than women...
Good luck,
Jason

That is so AWESOME! I have been a fan of Morimoto since he was Iron Chef Japanese in the original Iron Chef series from Japan.
One of my bucket list goals has been to have sushi hand rolled by Morimoto.
Great Pic too.

Topic: RE: Good Protein count site
I just found this site, it's great! it has the protein counts of almost anything you would ever put in your mout (even jellyfish???). It's also based on 3oz portions, 100 grams and how it is prepared.
Check it out:

Topic: RE: Protein vs. Calories
Since I can't eat 2 oz of protein at a time, it would be a lot of hard, slogging work to get my protein in. With the shakes it's easy, I like them so why not?
It's all in what you're comfortable with.Mom4Jazz,
I am almost 6 months out and I just don't care for food either. I drink 2 protein shakes a day with 1% milk and 1 and a half scoops of protein mix. If I eat 2oz of dense protein at a time it makes me feel like a rock for two hours.
I hope it gets better because I used to like food, but for now I wish I could just take a pill and be done with it.

I have ALWAYS been hot----and was a "sweater' even if it was cold.
I hope that all changes but the weather here has been in the 80s - 90s.
I think 49 degrees is shorts weather, but I may have to buy some testicle warmers this winter.
Congrats on the 130 something pounds!!!

I just ate 9 of these...Do you think it will hurt my sleeve?
I chewed them till they were mushy.
This is a sad example of an in-bread dog (and my sense of humor). Please spay and neuter.
