you don?t have to use protein shakes if you hate them. Just be sure to eat protein forward.
meat, poultry, fish, pork, eggs, cottage cheese, cheese of all kinds.

don?t eat a lot of carbs products, even oatmeal, sweet potatoes or any whole wheat product or white flour. Non carbs begs Ste ok. Drink 64 plus oz of sugar free liq every day

Once we learn how to eat enough gain weight with a weight loss surgery sized stomach, restriction is not part of the picture anymore. Calorie counting is the only thing that will work. Figure 10 calories per day for each pound that you want to maintain. I want to weigh 136 so know that 1360 calories per day will keep me there. Add more and the regain starts. Exercise gives a tiny bit of help. Keto gives a 10% advantage. if i stayed on keto could add another 136 calories per day and not gain.

although my dietitian hates that I do this, I basically just calorie count now. I figured my maintenance range is about 1500-1700 per day (although this will be different for everyone), so as long as I stay in that range at least most of time, I'm good (I still track my food after (almost) seven years, so it's pretty easy to know how many calories I"m consuming)

Topic: RE: Anyone know Dr. Jalil Illan in Tijuana???

Hi. I was reading previous comments about Dr. Jalil Illan Fraijo, this is the reason I created an account. I connot find much information on him and when I looked up his credentials it won't come out on the Asocia****n Mexicana de Cirugía Plástica, Estética y Reconstructiva, A.C. Has anyone done any type of cosmetic surgery with Dr. Jalil Illan Fraijo and can tell me your experience and also how you feel now. Thank you

Hi,

I know this is an old posting, but did you get the surgery done in Cuba? I'm Canadian as well. If you did, can you tell me the details as I too am interested in doing it in Cuba.

Topic: RE: What if you could look at your regain as the best thing that ever happened?

So many of us were taught to use fear and shame as our guides to how to do right, be right.

This is good food for thought for pre-surgery folks as well as folks who are trapped in fear and shame because of regain and transfer addictions.

When we use fear and shame as control measures what we end up doing is making our desire greater.

When we use someone else's rules about macros/micros, dont do this, only do that, we enforce our feeling that we dont know **** we are broken. We are not broken. We are powerful beings who, without knowing it, have strengthened our desire for the thing we know does not support us or the life we want to lead.

We can create a greater desire for what we ACTUALLY want for ourselves and turn the desire for the secondhand scraps down. It seems scary because what if we fail, again. What if it hurts us even more than we hurt now? We already hurt. We are already scared. What if what if our failure was actually a pathway to what it is we wanted? What it is we really desired.

Every disappointment, every failure, every regret has lead to this moment. We can decide to not be distracted. We are powerful and amazing. There is hope. The call is coming from inside the house, friends.

What if life was happening for us, not to us.

Happy Mardi Gras.
