What does your daily food intake look like? Are you drinking enough fluids? Are you measuring/weighing/tracking everything? Are you positive your calories are only 600?

Some times the weight loss is more like stair stepping. No loss for a week or two and then bam you lose 5lbs.

If I parsed your username correctly, I'm guessing you're female. Any chance this could be bad timing where you're in a stall, and also experiencing pre-menstrual or menstrual bloating? Did you eat anything salty yesterday?

Also, are you measuring and tracking everything you eat and drink? I'd double-check the calories on the things you eat or drink most often; one of them might be higher in calories than you thought.

Post a typical day's menu here and we'll see if we can identify any problems.

There is no real average and everyone is different, but this is what happens for many people with 100 pounds to lose.

Month 1 - 20 pounds

Month 2-6 - 10 pounds a month

Month 7-12 - 5 pounds a month

It sounds like you are pretty much on track.

This is a good tool to get an estimate of how much you might lose each month

I am in maintenance. Keeping my goal weight or close to goal most of that time.

My weight can fluctuate within 5 lbs in any 24-36 hours window. Just because.

And fluctuations within 8lbs during 5-6 days.

I try to weigh daily and don't obsess about it. To me, average over at least 2 weeks shows me my weight. That is how I judge if I gained or lost weight. Then I adjust.

BTW: maintenance is a ***** I know how to lose weight, or how to gain. But keeping it "just right" is a challenge. My body doesn't have a cruise control. Darn it.

Individual daily measurements can be really tricky; sometimes the scale hops around and it can be misleading. Look at the long-term trends rather than the individual measurements.

I use Trendweight and like it a lot. It takes each day's weigh-in and smooths it out to get a more accurate picture of your weight loss. The only issue is that it was a little confused that I lost a bunch of weight immediately after surgery, so its estimation is a couple of pounds higher than the scale, but that's not too bad.
