Congratulations on kicking soda to the curb! It is often very difficult to do-I know it was for me! I am having my surgery in a little over two weeks-I start my preop diet on Monday! I don't know if this is something your care team told you, but mine indicated I can have as much salad as I want, with a non-creamy dressing. Maybe adding in some crunchy veggies will help? The biggest thing is to remember everyone has bad days, and you are trying to change a lifelong pattern. Give yourself credit when things go well, and be kind to yourself when you don't. Progress is the name of the game, not perfection. The more you practice, the more it will turn into a habit. I have concerns about it because I get HANGRY. Lol. We're all in this together though!

Nutrigrain bars are not a "healthy snack," they're nothing but sugar and carbs. Try having a snack with low carbs and lots of protein, like cheese, meat, or a protein bar (at least 10g protein per 100 calories), it may help your hunger.
