What's on the menu today - Tuesday

I used to love these posts. Now I have no idea what to eat. 1 year of fertility treatment, 9 months pregnant, 9 months taking care of beautiful twins and I've completely lost it.

Here is a rough plan.

B - fit frappe

B2 - 2 eggs maybe a slice of bacon

L - Panera salad

S - ?? Will be traveling might try to pick up a yogurt and string cheese at a gas station

D - meat and veg - out of town so not sure what

Exercise - 30 mins on treadmill.

What is your plan?

Most everyone, regardless of surgery type, now posts in the RNY forum (given how similar the diets actually are in practice). You should check over there.

HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)

L 3 inch steak and cheese Subway

D 3 oz tri tip and 1 Tbl of mixed veggies

S 10 almonds

S2 thinking about Braums frozen yogurt in a cup.

Its little after 6 30 so not sure if I wanna do snack 2 or not, means I will have to go get. LOL

I'm all about crock pot meals these days. It's a great way to meal prep because you get like a weeks worth of food out of it. It's easy to set up before work and it's done when I get home. Plus, it makes everything nice and mushy so it's easier to digest.

One of my favorites is to throw in a pork tenderloin. Pour a 20oz bottle of root beer in and set it to low for 8-10 hours. Remove the pork and shred in a 9x13 or something. Discard all the root beer. Mix your favorite BBQ sauce in with the pork. Goes great with any steamed veggies. Easy to portion out too. Crock pot chicken cooked with salsa rather than root beer is excellent too. Beef stew is also amazing. You get some carrots and onion in there. It's all good.

Love me some oatmeal too. Helps balance out things too from the protein heavy diet if you catch my drift. String cheese, yogurt, almonds, bananas, and pretty much all kinds of steamer bag veggies are some of my regulars. Oddly, I enjoy Dark chocolate now. I never did before. Its easy to have a little and be satisfied and it's not the worst thing in the world for you.
