Hi everyone! I have started the process to get a vsg! I had my first appointment a few weeks ago and am excited to start this process. My mom had the surgery 5 years ago and it has helped her in so many ways that she inspired me.

I haven't scheduled my surgery date yet. I'm excited to connect with people who are going through something similar as I am and be apart of an uplifting community!

Good Luck on your journey. It is worth it and as long as you focus on the program and doing what your surgeon asks of you it will go well.

Welcome Ashley, I just started too and like you would love to connect with others in the process as well. I have my surgery scheduled for May 28th. Dr. called today to ask if I wanted to push up the date to the 13th but I didn't think that would be a good idea since I'm still recovering from emergency gallbladder surgery. (two weeks ago) Anyway congratulations on your choice and can't wait to see you on the other side of surgery and posting about workouts and finally getting back on solid food.
