Welcome to Thursday! It is supposed to start warming up again in Southwest Florida thank goodness. I don't think it reached 60 yesterday and was in the low 40's in the am. Though it is only 43 now it is supposed to get close to 70 today and 80 tomorrow. You should see all the year-rounders in their winter jackets!

QOTD: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning when getting ready for work or an appointment? I used to allow 45 minutes when getting ready for work from the time I got up until I left the house. That would include bathroom time, my shower, makeup and dressing and grabbing my lunch. I would drink one cup of coffee while I was getting ready. Now I allot about 1/2 hour for my shower, makeup and dressing, but that is because I've usually already been up for a while.

2 Years 8 months post-op (maintaining below goal for 2 years)

Always lots of coffee...

Good morning, Liz and VSGers! 60? I'd take it! LOL. It's not bad here, just a bit windy.

QOTD: I give myself an hour if I need to shower or 45 minutes if I've showered before bed. I get up at 5 on days I commute to the office so any extra time I can give myself i treasure, lol. However, most days I am awake before the alarm goes off. I make tea first - and drink it while I am getting ready - and then prep an iced coffee for the 45 minute ride to work. I apparently didn't have enough coffee today because on the highway my gas alarm went off saying I was in reserves. I forgot to get gas this morning - arhhh. I'm pretty sure there's enough in the reserves to get to a gas station, but I ride 495 which, if there's an accident, you can sit on for 2 hours stuck in traffic. (It has happened to me). I try never to get that low. Also, gas right off the highway is inflated in price...$3.19 today! Truly highway robbery, haha.

B: cheerios

L: planning on a salad after running to Walmart for stocking stuffers

D: idk, nothing planned yet.

Words cannot express how much I hate it. When I took this job, my commute was 5 miles (no highway) and wonderful. Then they closed my building :( :(

Another day to work here. I should be able to finish up my HMGT paper today so that I can have fun with my bff tomorrow and then do the rough draft of my GERO paper on Saturday. Fingers crossed!

QOTD: I like to plan for an hour if we're talking about alarm setting. That gives me plenty of time to weigh, drink my shake, shower, get dressed, and do anything else that I might need to do before leaving. I don't like being rushed. If I have to leave the house super early, though, I can do it in 30 minutes if I'd rather sleep a bit longer and deal with being rushed.

I got to sleep in but right now I wi**** was the weekend. Don't feel like going to work today.

Qotd I can get ready in half an hour but I usually like to leisure around so one hour at least. I usually work in the afternoons.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna and cottage cheese

D pork chops

Good morning! I agree with mmsmom, I will take your weather as well Liz! It's not bad here either, just dark and gloomy. That is our normal until April or May.

Taking my dog Emmy on a hike today then getting groceries for the weekend. There is a family of squirrels(about 5 of them) living in the trees around my deck. They taunt Emmy relentlessly, she has a love/hate relationship with them:-)

QOTD-When I work or have an appointment, I allow myself 1 hour to get ready and a half hour driving time to get there. During the summer I allow 45 minutes driving time.

B-1/3 cup granola, bullet coffee

L-Tuna salad with pickles and mayo

S-Hot tea

D-Tbd, maybe baked fish of some kind and a veggie

E-Hike with Emmy

Good afternoon everyone. It's cold, but sunny here. I wish all the snow and ice would melt away forever since it's past the point of being pretty.

In my group program, but on lunch break. Going to meet with a friend later.

QOTD: I like a lot of time in the morning or before work. 1.5 to 2 hours is what I am comfortable with

B- Sister Schubert roll with a ham slice and an egg. These little ham slices are called biscuit slices. They are small and round and perfect.

L- Half a sandwich and light and fit Greek yogurt

D- stir fry chicken

S- carrots, almonds

You're very lucky about the weather, in Minnesota we have months till we see those kind of temps.

QOTD: Im not a good morning person so 45 min if im lucky and dont hit the snooze too many times.
