Anyone get blackouts?
I am just over 4 months out VSG and last few days I've been having these spells... Just reading or watching TV and all of a sudden I feel like things are going black and that I'm about to pass out, I even try to brace myself so I don't fall because I'm sure I'm going out, then I feel like I'm about to get diarrhea and I have to start swallowing rapidly because a lot of spit in my mouth/throat. Anyone else have this?

It was at least 30+ minutes after my meal because I was just sitting my water down when it happened

It reminds me a lot like dumping. Since I had my gall bladder taken out years ago if I eat certain things it feels just like that. I feel hot and sweaty all sudden, I will feel like I am going to vomit it's usually accompanied with a loose stool (I wouldn't say diarrhea since it's happens just once) and after I go potty I am fine not too long after. Sometimes it's really hard to find out what food triggered it. For me it's not always fatty or sweet foods. I haven't had it since my sleeve surgery yet though. Anyways, just a thought.
Nope not dumping I've had a run-in with that! I don't feel like vomiting nor do I end up going to the bathroom, it's seriously like the room is getting dark and I think I'm about to faint or go out and nope never fainted before. I'm wondering if it's one of my meds being too strong? I'm calling my doctor ad soon as they open in the morning it's happened too many days now to ignore. See if my surgeon or my PCP want to see me.

I would definitely call for sure. It could be so many things really. Meds, dehydration, your equilibrium being off can cause faintness, migraines etc.
Dumping after gall bladder removal and dumping after WLS are two entirely different causes. WLS dumping (predominantly a problem for RNY people) is from too much sugar. After gall bladder removal, it's usually from eating too much fat, because you have no bile regulatory system anymore; I've never heard of anyone blacking out or passing out from it. OP's symptoms don't sound like either of those.
(I'm an expert on post gall bladder removal dumping, I suffered it for years after I had mine out in 1991. If I had a high fat meal, I had better have been near a bathroom an hour later!)
