I was definitely on the brink of tears during a Star is Born and someone in the audience when I saw it was outright ugly sobbing. It was a great movie.

That was probably me ugly crying. The ending really had the tears streaming down. I was grateful I brought tissues with me.

I agree, management types are a bit out of touch at times. I can see where they are coming from with the new food and drink, etc, but overall it is silly. They are expected you to have absolutely nothing for 12 hours. We are supposed to be given breaks, but there have been many nights where the night has been so insane that there has been no one to give me breaks. That isn't supposed to happen, but it does happen. Expecting someone to sit in a room with not even water for 12 hours is a bit much.

Do you have a picture of your watch?

I haven't been participating in these threads very much because I've just been so busy and unfocused and food has been super uninteresting to me recently and UGH. I've been doing a lot of scrambled egg lunches because nothing else is appealing.

Life is challenging right now - it's the last two days of classes, we're pretty sure we lost one of our cars to flash flooding on Thursday night, things are festive. Whee!

Ugh, I am so sorry. That's horrible. Is that something insurance can help with, or are you on your own?

Insurance will cover it, it's just a matter of what the status of the car is - the inspector is coming on Monday. It seems plausible that the car will be totaled considering it's a Mini (i.e., low) and the water was up to my waist. Thankfully it's paid off (although our other two cars are not). Things will be okay, it's just a big load of UNKNOWN right now and definitely not something I have a lot of brain space for when I should be focusing on finishing up the term.

Although, really, the only important thing is that Lance is okay.
