Shopping
What are some of your favorite affordable places to shop "on your way down"? I would ideally shop places that still have decent quality, as I'd like to donate my out-grown items. I just don't want to break the bank every time I need to restock my wardrobe! ð??...
Thrift stores are always a good option.
My primary tactic was to find clothes that would change with me, so I switched to wrap skirts. They're awesome. I buy them from amazon in lots of 10, so they end up being about $6 a skirt. I've had the same skirts for the last 100+ pounds :) I pair them with solid color shirts and I buy those when they're on sale at Target, so they're pretty inexpensive.

Poshmark is great! You can sell your outgrown clothes there, and use the money to buy new clothes in your smaller sizes. I've gotten some really incredible deals there!

Thredup.com works the same way. I also use Poshmark, but in the past have done better with ThredUP.

I actually like to go to Macy's, JCP and the other nicer department stores and buy on clearance... I just go in about once a week. I find you can find nice, brand new and often higher quality for less than Goodwill or other thrift stores. I also have not been buying too much, mainly basic's that I can mix n match, since I am going down in sizes pretty rapidly. I do snag sizes a bit smaller if it is a great deal since I know I am heading that way.
