I'm so sorry about your baby kitty; they take a piece of us with them.

I did a lot of leg work today to try and figure out how an appeal could work, and they do have an appeal process. It was frustrating that the adviser did not tell me about this in her office. She is a financial adviser, she would have known about an appeal process and I should not have had to search for the answers on my own. I do not mind you asking at all. I was indeed obese, which added to why I dropped out, but I initially dropped out from untreated depression and PTSD as well as anxiety issues. I have contacted my psychiatrist who handles my medication and will have access to my medical records and through those I can explain that while I did not have treatment back then, I have it now. So here is hoping! It is maddening that the adviser sat and let me bawl like a baby in her office rather than letting me know about an appeal process!

I am so sorry about your kitty. Losing pets is so hard and have had to go through the process of putting down many animals over the years. Each time I cry and cry. Stress does terrible things to our body.

QOTD: I'm only going to address what would be considered food in this country. I won't even discuss anything that we consider a domesticated animal! For me absolutely no liver, liver product, liver flavored anything... gross! There are several others, but that is my number one absolute no no!

I went through the same thing and I doubt you need to provide actual medical records based on the length of time you were out of school. I was out for 8 years and had to write a letter and basically say I was young and didn't know what I wanted to and so I didn't want to invest the time or money. I then talked about how now I've grown up, I am focused and know what I want to go to school for and am motivated to put in the time and effort to reach my goal. I was told that because of the amount of time I was out of school they almost always approve the case. It's if you dropped out last year they want to make sure something will be different this year and in that case they may need medical history to back your claim.

Good luck to you!
