QOTD: I don't think I'm superstitious at all, but I do firmly believe in the power of the jinx. I hate when I'm driving and someone says, "traffic has been really great!" because I just KNOW that they're jinxing it :P

Hey all! I just woke up and am enjoying some tea and waking up. I slept without a pillow after doing some googling about what sort of pillow is best in order to not have neck/head pain. Just flat on the mattress did the trick, thankfully I can stand to sleep without a pillow in the first place!
Today marks the start of my three day work weekend and I joked saying I'm so happy to get back to work so I can relax! While I said it jokingly, it's very much true. There has been a lot of work in redoing and cleaning this house and getting ready for my mother to move in from the nursing home. I have very negative feelings about this move, but I am trying to stay positive and see if it works out. I'll know if it won't within a month and will regroup then.
On another note, I am now below goal weight. I weighed this morning. I feel happy and validated. A handful of people in my life were certain I'd never make it, and all the statistics of I will never even make it to a healthy BMI, or a goal weight. There is a certain amount of weight that has been lifted off my shoulders, but also I know the work is not over.
Congratulations on making it to goal! How fantastic. Your hard work and persistence paid off and you did it! You're right of course, the work isn't over but I hope you truly stop and celebrate your accomplishments as you deserve it!
