Nervous... Surgery on Monday
As I lay her wide awake, processing the fact that I will check in at 7:30 Monday morning with a surgery time of 9:30. I'm nervous as all get out and can't quite put a finger on the reason why. I have an amazing surgical team, hospital staff is fantastic and my family is beyond supportive. Any last minute advice, words of encouragement, prayers would be greatly appreciated.
I had my surgery last Monday, and it went very smoothly. This is a very safe procedure (when done by a qualified surgeon, of course). Reading my account of it might help to calm your nerves. By the end of the week, I felt as if I'd been on a spa break!

It is major surgery so most of us are nervous beforehand. But it is now one of the safest surgeries done and with a good team you will be fine. Monday will be in the past soon and you will be glad you did it.
