Happy Friday! Except to the Australians - happy Saturday to you! Another early morning for me thanks to fitness classes! I'll be heading off shortly to Zenga and Tai Chi. Then it's home via an allergy shot so I can drink my shake, shower, and load the car before heading to visit my mom for the weekend. I haven't seen her, except for Skype, since before my CPH/OSL trip, so I'm even more excited than normal.

QOTD: Do you use a planner? What planner system do you use? Or do you just use a calendar? Wall calendar or online? Basically - how do you keep organized and aware of what's going on from day to day in your life? (I'll answer in a comment later on.)

1: Quest PB protein cookie - they're tasty, softer than a bar, but do not fit my rule of thumb for macros. But that's what worked for me to eat this morning.
2: protein shake
3: no idea since I'll be with my mom - normally we eat at her community on Friday nights and they've almost always got a good meat option for me

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: zenga class, tai chi class (Friday pilates class is on hiatus for the summer. Sad.)

Good morning from sunny, windy Aruba! I hope you have a great visit with your Mom. I'm looking forward to seeing youngest DD when I get home as I haven't seen her since her birthday on 5/13. And my other DD is coming a week later. We haven't seen her since Christmas.

QOTD: I 100% rely on my online calendar which synchs between my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook. I joke with people when I am putting appointments on it that if it isn't on there it doesn't exist, which is completely true. I also have a large whiteboard calendar in the kitchen on which I write events of interest to DH so he can check it daily and orient on the day and activities.

2 Years, 2.5 months post-op (maintaining at goal for 18.5 months)

Always lots of coffee...

B: Eggs scrambled with cottage cheese

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: If leftovers, beef tenderloin and veggies - if out, ?

S: Protein cake bite (1 or 2 for dessert)

Good morning & happy Friday! Gwen I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your mom, and Liz I am fully jealous that you?re still in Aruba lol!

I've got some data entry to do, a few errands to run, and a cake to bake for my sister-in-law's birthday.

Whoops, forgot to answer the QOTD: I have an online calendar for both jobs that is synched with my supervisors' calendars and I have a physical weekly planner. I use both! I love to write things down in a super pretty planner, and I've always kept one, but I also need my phone to ding at me for anything outside of my routine!

B - coffee & protein (of course!)

L - shrimp ceviche

D - the rest of the ceviche! (It is so delicious and I don't like leaving seafood in the fridge for long)

E - Elliptical, squats, calf raises, high knees

QOTD: I pretty much use my outlook calendar at work for 99% of my life - since I am at work or bring my laptop home with me. I also use the calendar on my phone -which syncs with Alexa.

B: 1/2 bagel with jarlsburg cheese

L: leftover lobster meat

D: going camping at Salisbury (beach community) - so maybe seafood or beach pizza

E: walk - it's actually cold now

QOTD: I have a wall calendar but it's still on May, so that sort of indicates how often it gets used.

My main calendar system is google calendar. There's a calendar that Lance, Art, and I all share - I don't know how families survived before google calendar. I've also got a "me only" calendar for things that only I care about. I have a time blocking calendar where I block out when I'm going to do routine tasks like study and cook dinner on any given day. Then there's a school calendar that shows the dates for classes I'm enrolled in. With my calendar app on my laptop I also use four "to do" lists. One for each class and one for non-class stuff. At the beginning of each class, when I get the syllabus, I add all my assignments to the appropriate to do list so I can check them off as I go.

And then I've got a written planner. I use the Bullet Journal system - modified for a Day Timer binder. (So I don't have to do the Bullet Journal migrating thing.) I think I've been using this method for 3 years now and it works amazingly well for me.

There is a lot of overlap between the digital and the written, but I find that this works well for me to have the combination of both. :)

Good afternoon,

Im surviving my first week at work. I worked 8 hours yesterday and never checked in yesterday. Only working 3.75 hours today.

Qotd I have a pocket calendar that I put my stuff in but might start using my phone calendar for appointments.

B ham and cheese omelette, string cheese and pork and beans

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple

D protein bar unless they have something healthy at support group.

Already have my steps in and haven't been to work yet.

Good morning! I hope you enjoy your weekend with your mom Gwen!

Today is my normal casino Friday:-) Will take my mom to the casino later this afternoon. I will spend $20 then stop when it's gone, maybe this time I will come home rich:-) Taking Emmy on a long hike before we go.

QOTD-I use a free calendar from my bank and lots of yellow sticky notes:-) I tried a bullet style planner but I guess I am not busy enough because it's sitting in a drawer unused. Nothing high tech, just a plain ole calendar.

B-Bullet coffee

L-Flax and quinoa "porridge" with walnuts & apple chunks

S-Chai tea w/cream & stevia, string cheese

D-Probably inside of a subway sandwich, tbd??
