Good Morning All - Tuesday morning and Im back home from our farm. Had a very productive long weekend up there. Our Angus Cows have gone over to my sister in laws to meet Marcus their bull for a couple of months, Trenches dug so we can connect our generator to the solar system, paddocks harrowed and lots of help to our family on their farms. We went with my SIL and BIL to a balloon night at one of the local wineries. It was cool (winter) but stunning - picture attached

QOTD: Im not sure. I would probably ask immediately about my family

Gwen - well done on getting your assignment in on time. My DH is doing his final exam tommorrow to complete his bachelor. Its been a long journey and Im super proud of him. Hes done it whilst working full time which has been a challenge to say the least

Gwen you're giving me grad school flashbacks! Congrats on getting the draft done. Unfortunately I was always that close to the deadline, I never learned my lesson!

Good afternoon fellow VSGers!

Today is my first day of full liquids...only a week and three days before I get to move on to pureed. Lord give me strength. I don't want to do anything that will hurt Sylvia, so that is my motivation and strength to get through the next few weeks EXACTLY how the doctor orders.

I told myself I would stay off the scale until my 2-week post-op appointment. But I can't seem to help myself, it's pathetic. Anyway I was 10 lbs up post-surgery, and I'm now 3 lbs over pre-surgery weight. Hopefully the weight will start dropping soon. I'm having these awful thoughts that this won't work, that I've gone through all of this for naught. But I know, rationally, that it will work as long as I keep working it.

QOTD: "Would you please give me cliff notes of the past century?"
