Oh Cathy :( I am so sorry you were so unhappy that you cried. I'm glad you quit and got in somewhere else. Why was it so bad?
Thanks, Mersh! I worked as a medical clinic receptionist. VERY busy clinic, very stressful, but management sucks, and there are no concrete guidelines, or reference materials to help you do your job and make it easier to find information. Everything was emails and remember this and remember that. I took copious notes, but they were useless when I kept encountering things I hadn't been told, or there was the 12th change to something that only got disseminated to part of the secretarial staff. Top that with too much work and not enough bodies, and high school style drama with a supervisor that did nothing about important issues, but made mountains out of molehills (or as my grandma used to say "Swallowed camels and choked on gnats") I just couldn't deal with it anymore. First job in my life that I still felt ignorant and incompetent at after nearly 8 months...and I am FAR from ignorant and incompetent. I found out this has been the situation there for years and nobody does anything about it, yet they wonder why they can't keep good help. LMAO
Good for you Cathy!!
Jess

Good Morning Everyone - Early start again for me. One of our engineers is overseas for a month so been working longer hours. Heading up to our farm after work tonight and will work from there next 3 days. Hubby is coming up on Thursday night after work. Will be lovely to spend 6 nights there. Lots of chores planned including taking our 4 big angus girls over to meet my in laws bull. Cant wait to meet baby angus calves in around 9 or so months :)
QOTD: Mozzies as we call them. They love me and in summer I get eaten alive. Have found a few creams over the years that help to repell and also to soothe once I am bitten. Thankful we are in winter now
B: Taco Boat Quiche
L: Leftover Slow Cooked Goat with veggies - made this Sunday night and it was amazing
D: Will be something reheated from the freezer after towing up our tandem trailer to the farm
